KCET Counselling 2023: Registration

The KCET Counselling 2023 process encompasses four main steps: registration and document verification, choice filling and locking, seat allotment, and reporting to the allocated institutes. Candidates who successfully clear the KCET 2023 exam can proceed with the counselling process by following the steps outlined below:

Step 1: KCET Document Verification 2023

All candidates holding a valid KCET 2023 rank must visit the nearest helpline center as per the schedule.

The confirmation of counselling registration depends on the KCET 2023 Admission Ticket, which can be downloaded from the official website.

During counselling registration and document verification, candidates must provide their original documents along with two photocopies each.

The documents will be compared to the ones uploaded during KCET 2023 Registration.

Upon successful verification, authorities will issue a verification slip and acknowledgement card to the candidates.

The verification slip will contain details such as the verified documents, caste category, and the eligible merit rank.

Candidates should review the information on the verification slip before leaving the helpline center, as no changes will be allowed once it is issued.

Step 2: KCET Choice Filling and Locking 2023

Candidates who have completed the KCET Document Verification successfully will need to log in using their unique identity and password.

They can then select their preferred college and course based on their choices and KCET 2023 marks.

Candidates will have the opportunity to check the Seat Matrix during the KCET Choice Filling process.

After the start of KCET Counselling, candidates may also have the option to modify their selected options.

Step 3: KCET Seat Allotment 2023

After completing Document Verification and Choice Filling, the KCET Seat Allotment will be published based on the candidate’s scores, KCET Reservation, and preference.

Candidates who are allotted seats in KCET 2023 Counselling must confirm their seats by paying fees and downloading the allotment order/admission order.

Subsequently, candidates should adhere to the schedule and report to the allotted institute.

Step 4: Reporting to Allotted Institute

Candidates who are granted seats through KCET 2023 Seat Allotment must report to their allotted institute.

They should bring their Allotment letters/admission orders along with the necessary documents and pay the required tuition fees to confirm their admission.

Marks sheet of SSLC/Class X.

Acknowledgement copy of the KCET 2023 Application Form.

Admit Card/Hall Ticket of KCET 2023.

Marks sheet of 2nd PUC/Class XII.

Study Certificate signed by the concerned Block Education Officer (BEO) or Deputy Director of Public Instruction (DDPI).

Two recent passport-size photographs.

Income Certificate for claiming “Supernumerary Quota” seats.

Kannada Medium Study Certificate signed by the concerned BEO for candidates seeking Kannada Medium reservation benefits.

Rural Study Certificate signed by the concerned BEO and a verification certificate (only for General Merit (GM) candidates).

Caste Certificate/Caste Income Certificate/Income Certificate for candidates claiming reservation benefits. (Caste and Income Certificate in Form ‘D’ for Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes, Form ‘E’ for Category-I, and Caste Income Certificate in Form ‘F’ for other backward classes like 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B, issued by the jurisdictional Tahasildar).

Hyderabad-Karnataka Region Reservation Certificate issued by the concerned Assistant Commissioner during document verification for eligible candidates.

Parent’s study certificate/Parent’s Hometown certificate/Parent’s Domicile certificate/Parent’s Employment certificate/Parent’s Cumulative Record/Parent’s Marks Card, etc., for candidates claiming eligibility for Government seats based on the domicile/study/employment of the parent.

Duly sworn-in Affidavit of the candidate claiming eligibility under Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga clauses.

Identity card issued by the Jurisdictional Deputy Commissioner/District Magistrate/Rehabilitation Commissioner for candidates claiming eligibility for Government seats under Jammu & Kashmiri Migrants quota.
