Under Secretary, School Education and Literacy Department, Department of Pre-University Education, has written a letter to the Director of Pre-Graduate Education Department, asking for permission to fill the vacant posts of lecturers of various subjects in Government Pre-University Colleges (PU Colleges) through direct recruitment.

Karnataka PUC Recruitment 2022 subject wise vacancy details:

Kannada – 100 Posts, English – 120, History – 120, Economics – 180, Geography – 20, Commerce – 80, Sociology – 75, Political Science – 75, Psychology – 02, Computer Science – 06. Thus, the state government has given permission to the Department of Pre-University Education to fill up a total of 778 lecturer posts through direct recruitment.
