Karnataka: Primary Schools to reopen from October 25, detailed guidelines release soon

Karnataka Primary Schools class 1 to 5 ready to reopen for offline classes. This reopening may shall be commence from October 25, Karnataka government need to release final order and Detailed SOPs can be expected soon and once they are released, the detailed guidelines would be updated here.

The government has released a notice informing everyone that the Education Department is ready for this reopening. Karnataka Primary Schools being reopened means that almost all classes are now functional for offline lectures for students.

Even before offline classes had resumed for senior students and some sections of the population were demanding that schools should started for junior classes as well. From what is known so far, the government is planing to give a nod to reopen Primary Schools from Thursday. It has not made attendance compulsory yet. Those parents who don’t wish to send their ward to schools and simply continue with online classes.

Even Karnataka’s Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai had mentioned to the reporters some time back that a decision on reopening Primary Schools can be expected soon but only after a meeting with the Expert Committee.

The Committee was analysing the entire situation in the state, especially post Dusshera and wanted to make sure that the environment was conducive for these students. Students and stakeholders are informed that this announcement has been made today. Detailed SOPs can be expected soon and once they are released, the detailed guidelines would be updated here.
