The subordinate secretary of the state government has issued the order and said that the voting will be held on 13-06-2022 for the North Western Graduate Area, Southern Graduate and North Western Teachers constituency.

Graduate and Teachers Council elections will be held in the North Western Graduate constituency of Vijayapura, Bagalkot and Belgaum. Mysuru, Chamarajanagar, Mandya and Hassan Districts in the Southern Graduate Area. Vijayapura, Bagalkot and Belgaum in North Western Teachers constituency .Dharwad, Haveri, Uttara Kannada District in the Western Teaching constituency.

The special holiday announced on Monday 13-06-2022 for government and private schools and college, Aided and non-Aided educational institutions, state and central government offices, factories and other banks and private factories.

The first PUC admission date for the academic year 2022-23 was 15-06-2022 with no penalty fee and 30-06-2022 with fine. But as the results were being delayed on the CBSE and ICSC boards, many parents and students had requested the education Board to extend the college admission date.

The Department of Pre-university Education has ordered the extend first PUC admission date without fine from 16-06-2022 to 11-07-2022 as it is in the process of sanctioning new college and new composition.

The Karnataka government has decided to drop the process of revision of Karnataka 2nd PUC syllabus history textbook midway and not to seek a report from the Rohith Chakrathirtha committee formed for the purpose.

Karnataka Primary and secondary education minister BC Nagesh told reporters, “Since the Rohith Chakrathirtha committee set up to revise school textbooks stands dissolved, we are not seeking a report from him. Moreover, the proposal was to revise only one PUC chapter.
