Yes, the name of the Karnataka Board of Secondary Education Examination (SSLC Examination Board) has been changed to ‘Karnataka School Examination and Valuation Board’, the Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs and Legislation has also published a notification.

Further, instructions have been given to use the new name in files, seals and correspondence. Board Director H. N. Gopalakrishna issued an order in this regard. The name of the Karnataka Board of Secondary Education Examination has been changed to ‘Karnataka School Examination and Valuation Board.

 The officials have been instructed to use the new name in files, seals and correspondence. Henceforth any correspondence and other files conducted by this office are directed to be dealt with in the name of “Karnataka School Examination and Valuation Board, 6th Road, Malleswaram, Bangalore 56003”.

Karnataka Education Minister BC Nagesh has informed through a tweet that the answer keys will be published within this weekend. The Karnataka Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for the year 2022 was held yesterday on Sunday in 35 districts across the state.

While 1,54,929 applications were submitted for Paper-1 (Class 1 to 5) examination, a total of 3,61,385 applications were submitted including 2,06,456 applications for Paper-2 (Class 6 to 8). Out of which 1,31,864 applications have been submitted for paper-1 and paper-2.

It has been decided to conduct TET twice a year from now on As TET pass is mandatory to apply for teacher recruitment, aspirants for teacher posts have to write and pass this exam.
