This will also be applicable to those who go to other educational institutes for writing the exam. The corporation informed that students can travel free from March 9 to March 29. The corporation has informed that students can travel by bus free of cost by showing their examination admit card and has instructed the bus drivers to stop in front of the examination centres of the students.

The Chairman of the Karnataka School Examination and Valuation Board had requested the KSRTC to arrange free travel for the second PUC students going to write the examination. KSRTC, which has awarded this, has provided free travel facility to the students to and from the examination centers on the day of the examination.

Free travel is available in city, suburban, regular and express buses of KSRTC. It has also instructed drivers and operators to stop on demand at examination centers and other places. Meanwhile, Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) has announced that women can travel in buses for free on Women’s Day on March 8. On that day, women can travel anywhere in the city in BMTC buses for free.
