Thus, the Universities have been instructed to postpone All degree examinations for 1 month. Higher Education Department ACS G. Kumar Nayak has instructed the VCs of the all universities.

The Department of Higher Education has announced that the semester examination of all Universities covered by the higher education department will be postponed for 1 month. Hijab issues has been haunting students since Corona. High schools and colleges were given leave for almost a week across the state of Karnataka.

After that, now college has started again. In many districts, however, education has not begun again. As schools and colleges in Karnataka reopened today after a week amid the hijab row, the Basavaraj Bommai government yesterday morning assured that the “overall situation” in the southern state is “peaceful”.

Karnataka Home Minister Araga Jnanendra also warned action against the violation of the High Court order as several reports claimed that some colleges saw chaos after students wearing burqas or hijabs were not let in. “The overall situation (in the state) is peaceful.

Few incidents were reported (on alleged denial of entry for girl students into schools with their headscarves and burqa). We’ve to follow the interim order passed by the High Court. If anyone violates the order action will be taken as per law,” the state’s Home Minister. Last week, the High Court had restricted wearing of hijabs, saffron shawls or any religious flags inside the classrooms as the row which started in the Udupi district- escalated and triggered a nationwide debate.

UGC NET results 2021: Click here to Check Result

The University Grant Commission (UGC) said that the results of the National Eligibility Test (UGC-NET) for the December 2020 and June 2021 cycle will be declared within a day or two as the processing of results is underway.

Candidates who had appeared in these exams can check the result on the official site of UGC NET on ugcnet.nta.nic.in. UGC secretary Rajnish Jain in a statement said that the UGC-NET of December 2020 and June 2021 cycles were conducted together by the National Testing Agency (NTA) between November 20, 2021, and January 5, 2022.
