Good News: Sonu Sood announces free coaching for IAS aspirants. Here’s how to apply

Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has been making headlines for his philanthropic work amid the COVID-19 pandemic. He has become a household name and a support system for countless families during the pandemic.

However, his charitable initiatives have not been restricted to just COVID-19 patients or those affected by the pandemic. The actor has added another feather to his cap of philanthropy as he announced a scholarship for free coaching for Indian Administrative Services (IAS) aspirants on Friday.

Taking to his Twitter handle, the actor announced ‘Sambhavam’, to provide free coaching scholarships for students who wish to give exams like the UPSC and join the IAS.

“Karni hai IAS ki tayyari. Hum lenge aapki zimmedari (if you wish to prepare for IAS, we will take your responsibility,” he tweeted. Sonu added that he was thrilled to announce the platform. According to Sood Charity Foundation website, the last date to register for the scholarships is June 30, 2021.

Sonu has often advocated free education to children who have lost their parents amid the pandemic. Earlier this month, he had announced his collaboration with CT University in Punjab to provide free education for the students whose parents lost the battle against the deadly virus.

Sonu has launched numerous platforms to help people, right from providing employment through e-rickshaws and other means to providing medical treatment. he 47-year-old actor has also promised to set up as many as 18 oxygen plants across various states of India.

He is starting this noble deed from Kurnool and Nellore in Andhra Pradesh and Mangalore in Karnataka and will soon set up the other oxygen plants across states like Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Telangana, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, and many others.
