There is no need for children to go to school on Saturday with a bag on their back. The Karnataka government is thinking of celebrating Bag less Day in the state on Saturday. It has been decided to engage children in extra-curricular activities instead of Saturday lessons.

Education Minister BC Nagesh is thinking of implementing this scheme and the final order in this regard is expected to come out soon. Isn’t it good if children can get rid of the burden of bags for one day in a week..?.

Important information for parents: 6 years of age is compulsory for school admission

Minister BC Nagesh to the parents who enroll their children in school gave the main information, the Minister informed that the child must be six years old to be admitted to the first standard, Education Minister BC Nagesh clarified that according to the National Education Policy, it is mandatory for the child to be six years old to be admitted to the first class.

He said that this rule will be implemented from the next academic year. This rule has already been implemented in 23 other states and it will also be implemented in Karnataka from the coming academic year. The minister informed that 6 years will be mandatory to enroll children in school.
