Two days after the murder of BJP youth leader Praveen Nettaru, another youth was killed in Suratkal yesterday night, leaving the people of the coast shocked. In this context, Section 144 has been implemented in the Commissionerate of Mangalore city as a precautionary measure and prohibitory orders have been imposed. A curfew has been imposed in the city till 6 am on July 30 Saturday and no one should roam unnecessarily. Commissioner Sashi kumar said that if anyone is found moving around suspiciously after 10 pm, their vehicles will be seized. The commissioner said that police surveillance will be kept at a total of 19 toll gates in many parts of the commissionerate.

At present Fazil’s killers will be investigated very quickly and impartially, the Commissioner has appealed to the public not to spread rumours. Due to Fazil murder case, the situation in Surathkal, Bajape, Mulki and Panambur Police Stations of Mangaluru City is like an ash-covered pit, full of tension and there is a high possibility of a threat to law and order.
