Education Department orders to change School schedule for Ramadan month

In the background of Ramzan Festival, the Education Department has ordered to change the schedule of Urdu primary and high schools in the state. Education Department orders to change School schedule for Ramadan month.

According to the circular issued by the Commissioner of Public Education Department, all the government, aided and unaided primary and high schools of the state following the state curriculum are directed to implement the action plan for the activities of the academic year 2022-23.

Now the school period is scheduled from 10 am to 4.20 pm. A standing order was issued earlier on 31-10-2002 to conduct junior, senior and senior secondary schools (Urdu Schools) of Urdu medium in the state from 8 am to 2.45 pm only for one month from the date of commencement of the month of Ramadan.

It is stated that the received request will be reviewed as per rules and necessary action will be taken. In the academic year 2022-23, the government, aided and unaided Urdu medium junior, senior and high schools of the state have said that the school term schedule has been changed only from the date of commencement of the month of Ramadan to 10-04-2023.

8 am to 8.40 am

8.40 to 9.20

9.20 to 10 hrs

Break from 10 am to 10.15 am

10.15 to 10.55

10.55 to 11.35

11.35 to 12.10

12.10 to 12.45.
