Dussehra Holidays 2023: Students are very happy when the festival comes. Students also get vacation during that time. For that reason they are even more happy. Telangana State Government has notified holidays to government schools, CBSE schools, ICSE schools, private schools, colleges, concerned teachers, lecturers, administrative staff, students.

Telangana government has already announced the 2023 holidays list. According to that calculation, 28 universal holidays and 24 optional holidays have been declared for the state government office. State government offices are closed on Sundays and second Saturdays.

In the order, government employees can take 5 optional leaves with the permission of superiors in addition to normal leaves. It is known that the Telangana Government has released the academic calendar for class 1 to 10 for the academic year 2023-24 which started.

According to this academic calendar schools work for a total of 229 days in this academic year. Schools will start on June 12 and end on April 23, 2024. That means schools should work for a total of 229 days in this academic year.

From April 24, 2024 to June 11, 2024 49 days of summer vacation. This year (2023) there will be a 13-day Dussehra holiday from October 13 to 25, the government has clarified in the order. Dussehra holiday has been declared in Andra Pradesh from October 11 to 16, 17th is Sunday and school will resume on 18th.

It is also known that there will be 6 days of Sankranti holidays from 12th to 17th January 2024. In the same month, excluding Sunday, 28-09-2023 Thursday – Eid Milad-Un-Nabi (Prophet Muhammad’s birthday) will be declared holiday for schools.
