“The schools are starting from May 16. The Covid Fourth Wave is not a backdrop for schools for any reason,” the Education minister B.C. Nagesh said. Speaking at a press conference on Tuesday, Primary and Secondary Education Minister B.C. Nagesh said, “There is a Covid 4th wave fear start it will go peak in June and July. The chief ministers have already convened.”

“We will strictly follow the advice of the Technical Advisory Committee. We take steps to ensure that children’s education is not disturbed. Secondary PUC exams are going well, attendance is also good. Valuation of SSLC Examination papers are going on. The results are expected in the 2nd week of May,” the minister said.

The Karnataka Education department has released the calendar of the 2022 academic year. There will be a summer vacation until May 15th. Schools will begin on May 16. The guidelines apply to government, private and aided schools. For the past two years there has been no full-fledged learning due to the Covid situation.

Against this backdrop, the schools are being set up even before this time. For the past two years there has been no full-fledged learning due to the Covid situation. Against this backdrop, the schools are being open even before this time. Karnataka school reopen from May 16. First term classes will held from may 16 to October 2, according to the academic year calendar.  2nd term Classes will be held from October 17 to April 10, 2023.
