CBSE class 10 Exam new rule: Two exams in year

CBSE class 10 Exam: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) plans to implement two exams in a year for class 10 board exam from 2026 to 2026. The CBSE introduces the global curriculum to 260 foreign schools incorporated from 2026-2027.

Indian Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan was present at the meeting attended by CBSE Officers and Heads of the National Educational Research and Training Board (NCERT), Kedriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) and Renaissance Vidya Samiti (NVS).

He discussed the draft plans scheduled for a public consultation next Monday, which was fully discussed. According to reports, the CBSE has announced a plan to conduct tests several times annually, and students can take their test twice and retain their best score.

This reform is compatible with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which emphasizes flexibility and student-cantered approach.

CBSE new system for board exams:

Currently, the board runs 10 and 12 board exams in February-March. With the latest improvement, students have to attend the exam twice a year. The Board has considered multiple options, including a semester system with tests in January-February and March-April, or conducting a second test in June with a supplement or improvement.

Changes are being made to create a more supported learning environment to reduce stress related to the same high -share test. It is believed that students are allowed to improve their score, which encourages students to increase their conceptual understanding of mugging students.
