CBSE Class 10 Exam: Board release sample paper and marking scheme

CBSE Board Exam Date Sheet 2023 is expected to release in November. However, no official notification on CBSE Date sheet is released but as per the previous trends, students can expect the CBSE Class 10th Date Sheet 2022 in November. This year, CBSE would be conducting the Board exams with a full syllabus and in a subjective format that is as per the conventional exam format. Last year, due to COVID, CBSE conducted exam in two terms and Term 1 was an objective type question-based exam. Students can learn to manage time and answer maximum questions in English papers through practicing.

CBSE Class 10th English Question Paper comprises two parts: Language and Literature. As per the details mentioned on the CBSE 10th English sample paper, the English paper will be of total 80 marks and will include the Reading, Grammar & Writing, and Literature sections.

Students will get 3 hours to complete the CBSE 10th English Paper 2022. The English Literature section covers questions from the textbook. While the language section covers comprehensive questions and creative writing. English paper is time-consuming and questions are asked with a prescribed word limit, students are advised to read the instructions carefully while appearing for the exam. 15 minutes of reading time is given to the students.
