CBSE Class 10 classes start in summer vacation: Children’s commission asked report

The Karnataka State Commission for Protection of Child Rights has asked for a report on the fact that some schools are teaching children who have been promoted from class 9 to 10 even during the summer vacation. CBSE Class 10 classes start in summer vacation: Children’s commission asked report.

Some CBSE and ICSE schools are teaching class 10th students. In this context, the Commission has sought a report from the Central Board of Secondary Education. Child rights activists have complained that some private unaided schools affiliated to CBSE are conducting classes for class 10 students even during the summer vacation.

And the Commission for Protection of Child Rights, which has written to the CBSE regional office, has asked them to submit a report within 7 days. Children’s rights activist Vasudev Sharma has written a complaint to the commission that schools are violating children’s rights by pressuring them to attend classes during summer vacation.
