Big Changes in SSLC and 2nd PUC Exam: Madhu Bangarappa big announcement

Karnataka Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa made an important announcement on the occasion of Teacher's Day. SSLC and Second PUC students can write 3 time exam in year.

Karnataka Primary and Secondary Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa has said that SSLC and 2nd PUC Exams 2024 will be conducted three times a year for students to improve their learning.

He participated in the Teacher’s Day program organized at the Methodist Church in Bengaluru and said that during this Teacher’s Day celebration, a total of 31 good teachers, including primary teachers, high school teachers and two special teachers, were given the State Teacher Award.

For the first time in the history of the state, Second PUC and SSLC students are being allowed to write the examination thrice in a year. He said that the decision to conduct the examination three times was taken because SSLC and second PUC children should not waste even one year for any reason.

If he fails for any reason in his student life, his entire year should not be wasted. Conducting exams is not about failing students. The test is conducted to measure the value of learning about life. He said that this important decision has been taken for the recovery of children’s learning in schools.

Education minister also said that after the process of transfer of teachers in the state, there was shortage of teachers in some places. After bringing this to the notice of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, guest teachers were appointed in such schools. At present 43 thousand people are working as guest teachers in the state.

He said that the shortage of teachers in government schools has been solved by this. At present, because children should be given nutritious food, eggs were given once a week in government and aided schools of the state. But now an important decision has been taken to give eggs twice a week to children from class 1 to 10. At present, the government led by CM Siddaramaiah is distributing eggs twice to 58 lakh children in the state, he said.
