Many organizations have called for Bengaluru bandh tomorrow to condemn the release of Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu. In this context, as a precautionary measure, District Collector Dayanand has issued an order declaring a holiday for the schools of Bengaluru city district.

Around 37 organizations of private transport unions have supported the bandh. Private buses will not start tomorrow as private bus drivers have supported the bandh. Besides, more than 2000 drivers will hold a rally from National College to Town Hall tomorrow. Massive rallies are going to be held tomorrow in three places within Bengaluru city limits. In this case, traffic jam is likely to occur.

Union Declared holiday Private Schools:

The Union of Private Schools had announced a holiday in the wake of the Bandh in Bengaluru city. Sasikumar, General Secretary of the Union of Private Schools, informed about this. But schools and colleges will be held as usual in rural districts.

Action will be taken based on the situation. But Bengaluru Rural District Collector Sivashankar has informed that a strong police deployment system has been planned in Bengaluru Rural District.

University exams Postponed:

Law University has postponed all the examinations to be held tomorrow in the wake of the Bengaluru bandh called for Cauvery river water. The exam to be held tomorrow will be potponed to October 8. All other examinations will be held as per the schedule, the order said.

Metro will travel as usual Tomorrow:

Even though Bengaluru is closed, our metro trains will run as usual. So commuters can rely on metro trains tomorrow. There is a possibility that BMTC buses will take to the road after looking at the situation.

Organizations withdrawing support for bandh:

Many organizations had already expressed their support for the Bengaluru bandh. But now the Auto, Uber and Ola organizations have withdrawn their support for the Bengaluru bandh that will be held tomorrow. On September 29, Karnataka has indicated its support for the bandh.

Karnataka bandh on September 29:

Bengaluru bandh will be held tomorrow in connection with the release of Cauvery water. But some organizations have not supported tomorrow’s bandh. Mainly pro-Kannada organizations have announced their support for the Karnataka Bandh to be held on September 29. Karnataka Bandh will be held across the state and many organizations have expressed their support.

The farmers of Bengaluru city, Bengaluru countryside, Mandya, Madikeri, Mysuru districts are already expressing their anger against the state government over the release of Cauvery water. It is said that there is a possibility of announcing a holiday for schools and colleges for the Karnataka bandh to be held on September 29. Bengaluru Hotel Owners Association, State Hotel Owners Association, Rickshaw, Ola, Uber, Private Bus Owners Unions have already expressed their support for the bandh.
