Andhra Pradesh: Class X board exams postponed, govt to review again in July

Andhra Pradesh government has postponed AP SSC examinations 2021 until further notice in the state. As per the official Notice from Chief Minister’s office, ” Andhra Pradesh Government postponed class 10th examination and will review the situation in July.”

The Andhra Pradesh board exams were scheduled to be held from June 7 to June 16, 2021. The AP government is bogged down to postpone the AP SSC examination because of the higher number of cases filed in the High Court of Andhra Pradesh to postponed examinations by students.

A large number of petitioners including teachers and students wanted the Andhra Pradesh government to either cancel or postpone examinations in this current situation of covid. AP Students of class 10th earlier opposed the conduct of class 10 board exams amid the second wave of Covid. However, the Andhra Pradesh government was keen to conduct the examination on time earlier also Andra Pradesh inter hall ticket for class 10 release on April 29, 2021.

Now, due to the prevailing situation Andhra Pradesh government has postponed the AP SSC examination until the notice. Any decision on the conduct of examinations will be taken only after reviewing the situation in July.
