The announcement by the state-owned oil and gas company aims to increase the penetration of LPG use nationwide. Please note that in the past, distributors and businesses required you to show your address proof to book an LPG connection.
However, the new rules implemented by IOCL will allow customers to access a nearby Indane gas distributor or POS to purchase a 5 kg LPG cylinder. Customers have the option of providing other official ID instead of an Aadhaar card to purchase a new 5 kg cylinder. You do not need to share your address proof to purchase a 5KG cylinder from Indane. You can also replenish the gas cylinder at a nearby store or store.
In particular, these 5 kg LPG cylinders are BIS certified. Insane customers can now also return cylinders when they are no longer needed. If the customer returns the LPG cylinder within 5 years, 50% of the cost of the cylinder will be returned, but if it is returned after 5 years, only 100 rupees will be available.
