An incident in which about 10 girl students of class 9 cut their hands in the same way took place in the Dandeli Karnataka, and it was suspected on social media that they were motivated by playing games like PUBG.

The incident of students cut their hands happened four or five days ago. Parents were not informed about the matter. On Friday, many parents rushed to the school and questioned the teachers. In this case, when the teacher inquired from the parents, the students gave one reason after another.

Some students told me that I plucked a thorn while picking a flower, I did it because my mother scolded me and my friend pinched my hand. Then the teacher gave advice. On Saturday, the matter reached the police and other parents. Then parents and police visited the school and discussed with the headmaster.

Headmistress Bharti Gowda said, I called the parents and informed them as soon as I came to know about the matters. But the students are not telling exactly why they have done this work. The students are answering one by one. This has also worried us, she said.
