In a rented house in Kalaghatagi of the Dharwad district, it has been learned that two sisters committed suicide by hanging themselves from the same saree. Heartbreaking incident in Dharwad: 2 sisters hanged in rented house.

Two sisters committed suicide by hanging themselves in a rented house in Bendigeri Oni, Kalaghatagi, Dharwad district. The deceased have been identified as Kaveri Hadapada (17) and Bhumika (19).

The police of Kalaghatagi station visited the place after coming to know about the matter, conducted an investigation and registered a case. The reason for the suicide is to be known after the investigation.

Car fell into Canal: Locals saved Couple and children’s

Mandya: A car fell into a 25-feet deep canal after the driver lost control near Machahalli village of the taluk. On noticing this, the locals immediately rescued the couple and the children in the car.

The car lost control and fell into the VC canal near Machahalli in Mandya taluk. On noticing that the car had fallen into the canal, the villagers of Machahalli immediately came to the rescue of the occupants of the car.

A couple and two children were present in the car and rescued them. Due to low water in the VC channel, no casualties occurred. The couple and children were admitted to a nearby hospital for minor injuries. A case has been registered in Shivalli police station in this regard.
