Drugs party In Cruise: Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan being questioned by NCB

Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan, has been detained by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). The NCB is questioning Aryan Khan in connection with the rave party that was busted on Saturday night after officials raided a cruise ship off the Mumbai coast.

Aryan Khan has not been booked on any charges and has not been arrested so far, Sameer Wankhede, Zonal Director of NCB has said. Aryan Khan is Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan’s first child. The couple also has a daughter, Suhana Khan, and a son, AbRam.

According to the sources, Aryan Khan is currently being questioned by the agency’s sleuths. The NCB sleuths, who raided Cordelia cruise after it departed from Mumbai, seized drugs such as cocaine, hashish and MD.

The agency’s Mumbai zonal director, Sameer Wankhede, received a tip-off, after which he and a team boarded the ship, posing as passengers. When the ship left Mumbai shores and was at mid-sea, a party began where drugs were consumed, said sources.

In 2019, Aryan Khan had dubbed the Hindi version of The Lion King. He voiced the role of Simba and in fact, sounded just like his father. In June that year, Shah Rukh Khan had introduced his son Aryan Khan as Simba in a unique way.

When the entire country was rooting for Team India during the ICC World Cup 2019, Shah Rukh Khan shared a picture of himself and Aryan wearing Team India jerseys. While SRK’s jersey had Mufasa written on it, Aryan’s read Simba.

Talking about working with Aryan in The Lion King, Shah Rukh had told an entertainment website, “When we did Incredibles, Aryan was about nine years old. It was very sweet to hear his voice. Even now, years later when I’m doing it for Lion King. For me, it’s an amazing bonding time with Aryan.”
