The whistleblower has made it clear that he will reveal the names of those involved and the exact burial sites only if he and his family are granted full protection under the Witness Protection Scheme, 2018.

While the police have registered an FIR based on his complaint and stated they are investigating, there have been concerns raised by legal experts and others about the apparent slow pace of action, especially concerning the exhumation of the alleged burial sites.
