This is a good time for customers planning to buy gold, as prices have fallen for the second consecutive day. On Tuesday (October 13), the price of 10 grams of 24-carat gold dropped by around Rs 390, bringing it down to approximately Rs 1.49 lakh. Here is today’s gold rate.

Compared to yesterday’s (October 12) market rates, both gold and silver prices have witnessed a significant decline today. In Bengaluru, the price of 22-carat gold was Rs 13,720 per gram yesterday, while today it has dropped to Rs 13,685 per gram. This marks a decrease of Rs 35 per gram, which means customers purchasing 10 grams of gold jewellery can save around Rs 350.

Similarly, the price of 24-carat pure gold has also declined, creating fresh interest among buyers in the market. The changes in gold prices are mainly influenced by global market trends and fluctuations in Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) trading. The silver price has also recorded a steady decline.

Today’s 22-Carat Gold Price Per Gram in Major Cities:

According to the latest market data, the current price of 22-carat gold per gram in major Indian cities is as follows:

Bengaluru: Rs 13,685

Delhi: Rs 13,700

Chennai: Rs 13,685

Mumbai: Rs 13,685

Hyderabad: Rs 13,685

Ahmedabad: Rs 13,690

Pune: Rs 13,685

Overall, the decline in gold and silver prices today has come as a positive development for customers planning to purchase jewellery during the festive season. The reduced rates may encourage more buyers to invest in gold ornaments.

However, gold prices are expected to continue fluctuating in the coming days depending on factors such as the global economy, the value of the Indian rupee against the US dollar, and changes in economic policies.

Experts suggest that investors and consumers can consider taking advantage of the current lower prices while they remain favorable.
