MG 4 EV to be launched in India with a mileage of 452 km per charge

After the launch of the ZS EV car, the MG company, which is recording the best demand in India, this time is ready to launch a new EV hatchback at an affordable price. The new EV car is likely to be unveiled by MG at the 2023 Delhi Auto Expo next month and road testing will begin after the unveiling at the Auto Expo.

Battery pack and mileage

MG’s new EV will be priced lower than the current ZS EV in the market. It will ensure the highest mileage in its segment and the new car will be offered with a choice of 51kWh or 64kWh battery pack. It will return a mileage of 350 km to 452 km per charge. In addition, the battery pack in the new car will have DC fast charging facility, which can be charged to the maximum in a very short period of time.

It can be charged from zero to 80% in just 35 minutes, which also highlights the performance. The MG4 EV is equipped with a rear wheel drive system coupled with a single motor. It produces 250 Nm of torque with a maximum power of 203 horsepower. Through this, many premium features have been given in the new car.

Design and Features

Although the new MG4 EV is a hatchback model, it has crossover SUV features. The new car has a cutting edge design with LED units and the interior also has several premium features. The new car will have ADAS suite for maximum safety. Along with this, the new car costs Rs. 12 lakh to Rs. 20 lakh can be priced. The new car currently has no competitor in India. But in terms of price, it can give a tough competition to the Tata Nexon EV and Mahindra’s new XUV400 EV.
