Electric scooter sales in India are gaining huge demand and soon scooter manufacturing company LML is also introducing new EV scooter models in the market. Lohia Motors Limited (LML) is gearing up to invest heavily in the Electric Vehicles  industry and is planning to launch two major new EV two-wheelers to meet customer demand. In the first phase of the new plan, the company is planning to launch the Star electric scooter, and now the company has started official bookings for the new scooter model. FREE BOOKING ANNOUNCEMENT LML Company is accepting free bookings from interested customers for the purchase of the newly launched Star Electric Scooter, but no official technical details have been shared about the new EV scooter.

Thus, the company is currently accepting bookings from interested customers without any advance, and the Star Electric Scooter with its modern design and advanced technology is expected to receive huge demand.

LML Company has already filed a trademark with the Central Transport Department for the new EV two-wheelers, and as the sales of electric vehicles in the domestic market are increasing rapidly, Vespa scooter manufacturer LML is also ready to enter the EV market under the partnership scheme.

Under the new plan, LML is gearing up to launch three new electric products within the next two years, for which the company has invested Rs. It is planning to set up a new factory with an investment of 1 thousand crores. Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh-based company LML, which first launched two-wheelers in 1972, launched several popular vehicles.

By 1984, LML had become the best-selling scooter in its segment, and the company then tied up with Piaggio to manufacture Vespa scooters in India. Now the company is gearing up to re-enter the market with a new generation of EVs through a separate investment, LML in collaboration with Haryana-based Saira Electric Auto will produce the new EVs.

The new Star electric scooter model is now being used by the company to name its old Star Petrol model for the EV scooter model, while the new model with maxi features will have a futuristic design along with a sporty edge. The EV scooter features an up front, sporty display panel, seat, spacious floorboard and a red accented garb rail, while the company will reveal any information about the battery pack and electric motor soon.
