Xiaomi Launches GentleAir Smart AC With 30 Second Fast Cooling Technology

Xiaomi has introduced its new GentleAir smart air conditioner globally featuring AI powered energy management, rapid cooling performance, multiple airflow modes and seamless smart home integration for enhanced comfort.

Xiaomi has expanded its smart home portfolio with the launch of the new Mijia Air Conditioner GentleAir in international markets. Designed to deliver faster cooling and a more comfortable indoor experience, the latest air conditioner combines intelligent technology with energy efficient performance. The company claims the device can begin cooling a room within just 30 seconds, making it one of the standout features of the newly introduced model.

Unlike conventional air conditioners that often direct cold air straight toward users, the GentleAir model focuses on distributing airflow more evenly throughout the room. Xiaomi says this approach creates a more comfortable environment by preventing harsh cold air from blowing directly onto occupants while maintaining consistent temperatures across the space.

The air conditioner is available in four capacity options including 2.6kW, 3.5kW, 5.2kW and 7.0kW variants. This allows consumers to choose a model that best matches the size and cooling requirements of their living or working spaces. Xiaomi has also equipped the unit with a Turbo Mode that can deliver maximum cooling output whenever rapid temperature reduction is needed.

One of the major highlights of the new AC is its AI powered energy saving mode. According to Xiaomi, the intelligent system can reduce electricity consumption by up to 24.5 percent. The built in smart technology studies user habits over time and automatically adjusts settings to improve efficiency without compromising comfort. This feature is aimed at helping households manage energy bills more effectively while maintaining optimal cooling performance.

Smart home integration is another key focus of the Mijia Air Conditioner GentleAir. Through the Xiaomi Home platform, users can remotely control the air conditioner, monitor its operating status and customize settings from their smartphones. The device also supports Google Assistant, allowing voice control and integration with broader smart home ecosystems.

To improve airflow management, Xiaomi has included three specialized air distribution modes. The Halo Flow mode circulates air evenly throughout the room to maintain consistent comfort. Canopy Flow directs cool air upward, helping it spread across a wider area before gradually descending. Meanwhile, Carpet Flow pushes warm air upward from floor level, making it particularly useful during heating operations.

The company also highlights four way swing support, which helps distribute air in multiple directions for better room coverage. In addition to rapid cooling, the air conditioner can begin heating within 60 seconds, making it suitable for year round use in different climate conditions.

The Mijia Air Conditioner GentleAir has been launched globally with a starting price of 569 euros, which translates to roughly Rs 63,000. The product is currently listed on Xiaomi’s official channels and is expected to be available through both online and offline retail outlets in supported markets.

With its combination of fast cooling, intelligent energy management and advanced airflow technology, Xiaomi is positioning the GentleAir as a premium smart appliance aimed at users seeking both comfort and efficiency in modern homes.
