Xiaomi has expanded its smart home ecosystem with the launch of the Mijia Instant Hot Water Dispenser Max Ice Maker Edition, a unique appliance that aims to simplify both hot water needs and ice making in a single compact system. The device is designed for users who want quick results in daily kitchen tasks without depending on multiple appliances.
The product has been introduced on Xiaomi Youpin with a price tag of 1999 yuan, which is approximately ₹28,072. Positioned in the premium home appliance category, it targets households where ice consumption is frequent and instant hot water access is a daily requirement.
One of the most interesting aspects of this device is its dual functionality. It can produce both hot water and ice from a single unit, making it a space saving solution for modern kitchens. Xiaomi has also integrated continuous water circulation technology, which helps reduce air bubbles and ensures clearer, high quality ice formation.
For ice production, the system comes with an automatic dispensing mechanism controlled by a single button. Users do not need to manually remove or break ice, as the machine handles the process on its own. The storage area is designed to hold more than 40 ice cubes at a time, making it suitable for daily use as well as small gatherings. An insulation layer helps slow down melting, keeping ice usable for longer periods.
