Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus Expected to Launch Soon in India With Triple Camera Setup
Motorola is preparing to expand its Edge smartphone lineup in India with a new premium model featuring advanced cameras, powerful hardware, fast charging support and multiple color options for users.

Smartphone maker Motorola is reportedly gearing up to launch another premium device in the Indian market. After recently introducing the Motorola Edge 70 Pro, the company is now expected to unveil the Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus in the coming weeks. Early signs of the launch have already appeared online, creating excitement among smartphone enthusiasts.
A dedicated microsite related to the upcoming device has reportedly surfaced on Flipkart, hinting that the launch announcement may not be far away. Although the product page does not directly reveal the smartphone name, the URL details strongly indicate that it belongs to the Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus lineup.
The upcoming smartphone is expected to arrive with a premium design similar to the Edge 70 Pro. It may be offered in multiple attractive shades including brown, red and teal. The rear panel is expected to feature a square shaped camera module housing a triple camera setup along with an LED flash unit.
Motorola appears to be focusing heavily on camera performance with this device. Reports suggest that the phone could feature a 50 megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilization support for improved photography and stable videos. Another 50 megapixel ultra wide autofocus camera is also expected to be included. On the front, users may get a 50 megapixel selfie camera designed for video calls and high resolution selfies.
The smartphone is also likely to target users looking for strong performance and gaming capabilities. It may come powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme processor along with the Arm Mali G720 MC8 GPU. The device is expected to offer up to 16 GB RAM, which could help handle multitasking and demanding applications smoothly.
Display quality is another area where Motorola may try to impress buyers. The Edge 70 Pro Plus is expected to feature a large 6.8 inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Reports also suggest peak brightness levels could reach up to 5200 nits, making the screen easier to view even under strong sunlight.
The phone may run on an Android 16 based operating system and Motorola is expected to provide three major OS upgrades for long term software support. Connectivity features could include 5G, Wi Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and a USB Type C port.
Battery performance is also expected to remain a strong point. The device may pack a large 6500mAh battery with support for 90W TurboPower fast charging. This could allow users to spend less time charging and more time using the phone throughout the day.
Meanwhile, Motorola is also preparing to introduce two additional smartphones in India including the Moto G37 and Moto G37 Power. These devices are expected to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor and may arrive with specifications similar to their international variants launched earlier in Europe.
With smartphone competition growing rapidly in the premium segment, Motorola appears to be strengthening its position by focusing on high refresh rate displays, powerful cameras and fast charging technology. The official launch date for the Motorola Edge 70 Pro Plus is still awaited, but industry watchers expect more details to emerge soon.
