Xiaomi Redmi Watch 6 Goes Global With 24 Day Battery and AMOLED Display
New Redmi Watch 6 expands globally with large AMOLED screen long lasting battery health tracking features and NFC support targeting users who want premium smartwatch experience at affordable pricing

The global wearable market has received a fresh update as Xiaomi officially brings its latest smartwatch, the Redmi Watch 6, to international users. Originally launched in China in October 2025, the device is now being introduced in multiple global regions with updated availability and features.
One of the standout aspects of the smartwatch is its impressive battery performance. The Redmi Watch 6 is equipped with a 550mAh battery that can last up to 24 days on light usage. Under normal conditions, it delivers around 12 days of battery life, while heavy usage brings it down to approximately 7 days, making it one of the more efficient wearables in its category.
The display is another major highlight. The watch features a 2.07 inch AMOLED panel with a 60Hz refresh rate and peak brightness reaching up to 2000 nits. With slim 2mm bezels and a screen to body ratio of 82 percent, the display is designed to offer clear visibility even under bright outdoor conditions. It also supports always on display functionality for added convenience.
Design wise, the smartwatch comes with a premium aluminum alloy frame and a stainless steel dial, giving it a solid yet stylish appearance. The unibody construction keeps the thickness at just 9.9mm, while a physical side button adds ease of navigation. The device is available in multiple color options including grey, black, and blue.
Health and fitness tracking remain central to its appeal. The watch includes heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen level tracking, stress monitoring, sleep analysis, breathing exercises, and menstrual health tracking. Additional alerts such as abnormal heart rate and low oxygen warnings further enhance its health focused capabilities.
For fitness enthusiasts, the watch offers more than 150 sports modes, making it suitable for a wide range of activities. It also comes with 5ATM water resistance, allowing users to wear it during swimming and other water related activities without concern.
A notable addition in select regions is the NFC enabled model, which supports contactless payments. This feature is currently being rolled out in limited markets, including Poland, and adds more convenience for users who prefer digital transactions.
Pricing varies by region, with the smartwatch priced at approximately 9000 rupees in Thailand. It is available through official Xiaomi channels and comes in multiple color variants depending on the market.
With its combination of long battery life, bright AMOLED display, advanced health tracking, and modern design, the Redmi Watch 6 positions itself as a strong contender in the global smartwatch segment, especially for users looking for a balance between performance and affordability.
