Vivo X300 Series Set for India Launch With Ultra Flagship Features and Premium Design

Vivo is preparing to launch its X300 Ultra and X300 FE smartphones on May 6 in India featuring high end cameras, powerful processors, and flagship level displays with expected prices ranging from mid to premium segment

The premium smartphone segment in India is about to get more competitive as Vivo gears up to introduce its latest X series lineup. The upcoming Vivo X300 Ultra and Vivo X300 FE are scheduled to launch on May 6 at 12 PM, bringing a mix of advanced performance and camera focused innovation for users looking at the high end category.

Interestingly, the company has already confirmed that the new lineup will feature Zeiss tuned cameras along with a flagship level design approach. While complete specifications are yet to be officially revealed, early leaks and expectations suggest that both devices will focus heavily on imaging, display quality, and performance improvements.

The Vivo X300 Ultra is expected to be the more powerful model in the series. It may feature a large 6.82 inch 2K LTPO AMOLED display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and peak brightness reaching up to 5000 nits. Under the hood, the device is likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with a 6600 mAh battery supporting 100 W wired and 40 W wireless fast charging.

Camera capabilities could be the biggest highlight of the Ultra variant. Reports suggest it may include a 200 megapixel primary sensor with gimbal based OIS support, along with another 200 megapixel periscope lens designed for extreme zoom photography. The device is also expected to come with IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dust resistance and may run on Android 16 out of the box.

On the other hand, the Vivo X300 FE is expected to target users who want flagship style features at a relatively lower price point. It may come with a 6.31 inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display featuring the same 5000 nits peak brightness level. The phone is also rumored to be powered by a Snapdragon 8 series chipset along with a 6500 mAh battery and 90 W fast charging support.

Camera setup on the FE model could include a 50 megapixel primary sensor and a 50 megapixel periscope lens, aiming to deliver strong photography performance in a compact form factor. Like its Ultra sibling, it is also expected to run on Android 16, ensuring a modern software experience.

As for pricing, official figures are yet to be announced. However, market expectations suggest that the Vivo X300 FE could be priced around ₹70,000, while the Vivo X300 Ultra may reach approximately ₹1,30,000 in the Indian market.

With the launch just around the corner, anticipation is building among smartphone enthusiasts who are keen to see how Vivo positions its new flagship series against other premium devices. If the leaks turn out to be accurate, the X300 lineup could become a strong contender in the high end smartphone segment this year.
