Diwali festival witnesses its last solar eclipse of the year. In total, there have been four eclipses this year, out of which two lunar and two solar eclipses. As the year comes to an end, the second and the last solar eclipse falls on October 25. The eclipse will be visible in various parts of Europe, North-east Africa and West Asia. The Indian cities that will experience the partial solar eclipse are New Delhi, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Chennai, Ujjain, Varanasi and Mathura.
This Surya Grahan will last for an hour and it’s a partial solar eclipse. The day will occur on October 25, 2022. The phenomenon of the partial solar eclipse is quite relatable to a solar eclipse, which occurs when the moon passes through the sun and three of them align in a perfectly straight line.
An annular solar eclipse is called a partial eclipse. When this phenomenon takes place, the sun appears to have a dark shadow on only a small part of its surface. But in solar eclipses, when the moon passes directly in front of the sun, partially or entirely blocking out its light. Solar eclipses are visible only in certain areas which can be dangerous to view with the naked eye.

Individuals should take a bath after a solar eclipse.
They should clean their houses and sprinkle Gangajal across the house.
During the Sutak period, pregnant women should stay indoors.
People chant Shiv Mantras that can be chanted during the solar eclipse.
Cooking and eating are prohibited during the eclipse period.
Exposure to a solar eclipse through the naked eye is denied.
No one should sleep during the eclipse hour.
Before the solar eclipse, basil leaves should be put in water and food.
