Sri Lankan Sports Minister Namal Rajapaksa, taking to Twitter, said that he had informed the secretary to the President of his resignation from all portfolios with ‘immediate effect.’ Former Sri Lankan minister Wimal Weerawansa also met the President and proposed an all-party interim government to be appointed to resolve the current crisis in the country.
