India is celebrating its 74th Republic Day today. On this occasion, Google created a wonderful doodle to express the greeting. Today’s Google Doodle features several elements of the Republic Day parade, including Rashtrapati Bhavan, India Gate, the CRFP marching band and motorcyclists.
On this day in 1950, India declared itself a sovereign, democratic and republic with the adoption of the Constitution. President Draupadi Murmu will lead the nation on the 74th Republic Day 2023 from the line of duty in New Delhi today.
Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi will be the chief guest at the parade. For the first time, the Republic Day parade will march on the duty path. Earlier it was called Rajpath. These people will sit in the first row instead of VVIP. For the first time, VVIPs will not be in the front row to watch the parade.

Fire fighters will participate in the Republic Day Parade for the first time. The procession will begin with Prime Minister Narendra Modi visiting the National War Memorial. He will pay tribute to the martyred soldiers by offering floral tributes. Later, the people’s representatives will proceed to the tribute platform on the route to watch the procession.
