Redmi Note 15 5G Special Edition Teased with Premium Look and Powerful Features

Redmi is preparing to launch its Note 15 5G Special Edition in India featuring a premium vegan leather finish high resolution camera smooth display and reliable performance for everyday use

A new smartphone launch is around the corner as Xiaomi backed brand Redmi gears up to introduce the Redmi Note 15 5G Special Edition in India on April 2. The device will be available through Flipkart, where a dedicated page has already gone live, hinting at key highlights and design elements.

The upcoming Special Edition is being positioned as a more stylish alternative to the standard variant. Teasers suggest a bold red finish combined with a premium vegan leather back, offering a distinct look compared to typical glass designs. Subtle gold accents around the edges and camera module are also expected, giving the phone a more refined appearance.

While the design takes center stage, the internal specifications remain largely similar to the regular model. The smartphone is expected to feature a 6.77 inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, aimed at delivering smooth visuals whether users are scrolling, streaming, or gaming. This combination should appeal to users who value both performance and display quality in daily use.

Under the hood, the device is likely to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 processor. This chipset is designed to handle routine tasks efficiently while also supporting moderate gaming without noticeable lag. Paired with 8GB RAM and storage options up to 256GB, the phone is expected to offer a balanced performance for most users. There is also support for expandable storage, adding flexibility for those who need extra space.

Photography is another strong point of the device. The phone is expected to include a 108MP primary camera, supported by an additional secondary sensor and a 20MP front camera for selfies and video calls. This setup is aimed at delivering detailed images across different lighting conditions, making it suitable for everyday photography needs.

Battery life also looks promising, with a 5520mAh battery expected to power the device. It supports 45W fast charging, allowing users to quickly recharge and stay connected throughout the day. On the software side, the phone will run on Android 15 based HyperOS 2, offering a smoother and more refined user experience.

Although the official pricing has not yet been announced, market expectations suggest it could be slightly higher than the standard Redmi Note 15 5G, which is priced around Rs 21000. With its premium design and reliable specifications, the Special Edition could attract buyers looking for a stylish yet capable 5G smartphone in the mid range segment.
