OnePlus appears to be preparing its next flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 16, with several high end features already circulating ahead of its expected launch. The company has also revealed three colour options for the upcoming device, giving fans an early look at its design direction.
The three reported finishes are Tomorrow’s Starlight, Dark Forest and Mars Masterpiece. Among them, Tomorrow’s Starlight is attracting particular attention because of a lighting feature that OnePlus calls the Interstellar Light Effect.
The special finish is designed to appear different under low light. According to the information shared about the phone, the effect could become visible during events such as incoming calls, notifications, music playback, charging and gaming. The phone is expected to have a more conventional appearance during the day, while the lighting effect could become noticeable in darker surroundings.
