According to the information given by the government, Google Chrome browser should be updated as soon as possible. In a notification released by the government, security issues were found in version 119.0.6045.159 for Linux and Mac and version 119.0.6045.159/.160 for Windows. These two versions contain CVE-2023-5997 and CVE-2023-6112, and users using these versions should update their Google Chrome as soon as possible.

This means that cybercriminals can easily install arbitrary code on users’ devices using higher versions of Google Chrome. Due to this, cybercriminals are targeting users of such old versions, so if you are using your device on this version, update it right now.

The bugs were found in ESR versions of Firefox earlier than 115.5.0, iOS versions of Firefox earlier than 120, and Mozilla Thunderbolt versions earlier than 115.5.
