Bangalore Police Commissioner B Dayanand has issued an order to enforce Prohibitory Order (Section 144) in Pulikeshi Police Station area from 6 am on Saturday morning to 5 pm tomorrow in Doddagunta area of ​​Pulikeshi Nagar Police Station. Section 144 will be in force from 6 am today to 5 pm tomorrow.

During this time, all the palanquin festivals of the Dussehra festival take place. Thousands of people come to see the palanquin festival. Hence curfew was imposed to prevent riots. In Pulikeshi Nagar, during the Dussehra palanquin festival, the prohibition order has been implemented with the foresight that there is a possibility that some miscreants may consume alcohol and commit intoxicating acts.

Zika Virus Cases Rise In Karnataka: Government Issued High Alert

Now deadly Zika virus scare has started for Karnataka. Zika virus has now been detected in Talakayalabetta village of Shidlaghatta taluk of Chikkaballapur district and the health department has announced a high alert. Health department officials have already visited several villages including Venkatapura, Bachchanahalli, Vaddahalli, Dibburahalli near Talakayalabetta in Chikkaballapur district.

More than 30 pregnant women and 7 people suffering from fever in the village have been screened and their blood samples have already been sent to the Bengaluru laboratory for testing. After the detection of Zika virus in mosquitoes in villages like Talakayalabetta, Dibburahalli, Shidlaghatta, the villagers are now worried.

Officials of the health department have already gone to the villages where the Zika virus has been detected and have conducted an inspection. Also, special meetings have been held in this regard and necessary precautions have been taken to prevent the spread of Zika virus infection.
