The India Meteorological Department has said that the state including Bengaluru will receive heavy rainfall for the next two to three days. Thunderstorms are likely in many districts of the state. There is information that there will be cloudy weather in some districts.

In Bengaluru, the maximum temperature will be 29 degrees and the minimum temperature will be 21 degrees. The next 48 hours will be mostly cloudy in Bengaluru city. It is already cloudy in Bengaluru. There is a chance of thundershowers in the evening and night. Weather department said that strong winds are likely to blow at times.

Also yesterday there was heavy rain in Dakshina Kannada district. People are happy who were waiting rain. Life has returned to the rivers. Many districts including Karwar and Davangere received heavy rain yesterday evening. There is a possibility of more rain today as well. Bagalkote, Belagavi, Dharwad, Gadag, Haveri, Vijayapur, Yadgiri, Bidar, Raichur, Kalaburagi, Koppal districts will receive heavy rain.

Western region including Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and Gujarat are expected to witness widespread rain, thunder and lightning from September 15-18.

Over Northwest comprising Uttarakhand, Jammu division, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Southwest Uttar Pradesh, light to moderate rain and thundershowers are forecast from September 15-17. Isolated heavy rains are expected and East Rajasthan is expected to experience heaviest rainfall on September 16 and 17.

Odisha and Jharkhand are likely to witness widespread rain, thunder and lightning on September 15 with continued activity on September 18 and 19.
