Gruha Lakshmi Scheme: Gruha Lakshmi Yojana is one of the ambitious Five Guarantee Schemes of the State Government. Under this scheme, a subsidy of Rs 2000 per month is being given to women housewives of the state. Such money was not transferred to the account of some owners for some technical reason.

Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah while speaking to reporters at Chitradurga on Friday said that the amount of Rs 2000 of Gruha lakshmi Yojana has not been deposited in the accounts of some housewives due to technical problems. He also informed that Rs 2000 will be credited to the account through DBT after fixing the technical problem.

Gruha lakshmi scheme has been implemented for 1.26 crore women entrepreneurs in the state. Already Rs 2000 have been deposited in the account of 1.10 crore women owners through DBT. However, bank accounts of 16 lakh people have not been credited due to technical reasons of not linking Aadhaar. He informed that the money will be transferred to the owner’s account within a few days after this problem is rectified.
