APL BPL Card Holder Good News: Card Update Date Extend

BPL and Antyodaya cardholders can also update their ration card. In Bengaluru One, Karnataka One and Gram One centers, there is an opportunity to update their ration cards from 10 am to 7 pm.

All types of corrections including omissions in names of family members or change of cardholder’s address are allowed. In the second phase, Belgavi, Bagalkote, Chikkamagaluru, Udupi, Dakshina Kannada, Mysuru, Chamarajanagar, Uttara Kannada, Vijayapur, Kodagu, Mandya, Dharwadha, Gadag, Haveri, Hassan districts have been given an opportunity from October 8 to 10.

Important Document Required for Ration Card Update:

In order to facilitate the benefit of Gruha Lakshmi Scheme, Gruha jyoti Scheme and Anna Bhagya schemes, the state government has allowed for amendment of ration card. Mainly, ration card and Aadhaar card should be linked to become beneficiaries of Gruha Lakshmi, Annabhagya Yojana.

On the ration card, you must take the Aadhaar card to the Karnataka One, Bangalore One or Gram One center for correction of name, address etc. Also it is better to carry bank account pass book. Now Aadhaar card is mandatory to add new name in ration card. Also Aadhaar card must be linked to mobile number. Once children under six years of age are enrolled, birth certificate is mandatory.

In addition to the child’s birth certificate, Aadhaar card, Aadhaar card of father and mother are also mandatory to enroll small children in the ration card.
