RCB Retained and Released Player List for IPL 2024 Auction
IPL 2024: Here is the list of players retained and released by Royal Challengers Bangalore ahead of IPL 2024 auction.
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) IPL 2024: Faf du Plessis-led Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are looking to clinch their maiden title in the upcoming Indian Premier League. Virat Kohli, who received the man of the tournament award in the recently concluded ODI World Cup 2023, is in deadly form as the batsman will be confident in the team.
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) released their wicketkeeper batsman Dinesh Karthik along with pacers Harshal Patel and Anuj Rawat. RCB currently have Rs 1.75 crore in their purse. November 26 (Sunday) will be the last date for all IPL franchises to submit their retention list.
The IPL 2024 auction will be held on December 19 in Dubai. Shahbaz Ahmed traded to Sunrisers Hyderabad, Mayank Dagar to Royal Challengers Bangalore. Shahbaz Ahmed was traded from Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) to Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) while Mayank Dagar was traded from SRH to RCB in the Indian Premier League trading window ahead of the 2024 IPL season.

Glenn Maxwell is also a player to watch out for as the all-rounder was in deadly form in the recently concluded World Cup 2023. He played a match-winning knock for Australia against Afghanistan and RCB will expect the same from the all-rounder. The players released by their franchises will be auctioned ahead of IPL 2024 on December 19 in Dubai. If these players go unsold, they can only play in the IPL if the team replaces them.
