Mumbai Indians spend Rs 100 crore to trade Hardik Pandya in IPL 2024

IPL 2024: It is known that Hardik Pandya will play for Mumbai Indians in Indian Premier League season-17. Pandya, who was in the Gujarat Titans team, was traded by the Mumbai Indians franchise before the IPL 2024 auction. Mumbai Indians spend Rs 100 crore to trade Hardik Pandya in IPL 2024.

But Some report says that Mumbai Indians paid Rs 100 crore for this trade. That means Gujarat Titans had put a huge demand to sell Hardik Pandya. Mumbai Indians accepted the transfer fee offered by the Gujarat Titans franchise and finally paid Rs 100 crore. The report said that Hardik Pandya was traded after paying.

That means that Mumbai Indians spend Rs 100 crore for buying Pandya here. As per the IPL trading rules, both franchises have to agree if a player is to be traded. Also the buying franchisee has to pay the amount stated by the selling franchisee of the player. Thus the trading process is completed only if a deal is struck between the two franchisees.

Accordingly, Gujarat Titans demanded a huge amount from Mumbai Indians who were ready to buy Hardik Pandya. Mumbai Indians franchise finally bought Pandya in a Rs 100 crore deal. Accordingly, Hardik Pandya will lead the Mumbai Indians team in IPL 2024 instead of Rohit Sharma.
