IPL Auction 2024: A player has been sold for a record amount in the history of Indian Premier League. Australian former captain and RCB former fast bowler Mitchell Starc sold for Rs 25 crore. Australia’s World Cup winning captain Pat Cummins has been sold for Rs 20.50 crore in IPL. By this, a new record has been written in the history of IPL.

Mitchell Starc sold for Rs 24.75 crore for Kolkata Knight Riders. Chennai Super Kings bid for Pat Cummins before. Later Mumbai Indians team also showed interest. But as the bid amount increased to 6 crores, Chennai moved away from the arena. Then Royal Challengers Bangalore and Sunrisers Hyderabad teams bid. Both teams have repeatedly competed to buy Cummins. Now Pat Cummins is bidding for the fame of the player who has been sold for more than 20 crores in the history of IPL. Earlier, Sam Curran was sold for Rs 18.50 crore. This was the record amount sold by a player in IPL. Earlier, Mumbai Indians sold Cameron Green for Rs 17.50 crore, while Chennai Super Kings bought Ben Stokes for Rs 16.25 crore. Pat Cummins was earlier sold to KKR for Rs 15.5 crore.
