On February 20, 2008, the grand first auction of the T20 League took place. MS Dhoni is the most expensive player who was sold to CSK for 1.5 million USD in the debut IPL auction.

The selection committee for the greatest IPL team of all time included former cricketers Wasim Akram, Matthew Hayden, Tom Moody and Dale Steyn.
Also, around 70 journalists participated in the selection process. Talking about the greatness of MS Dhoni, former Australian cricketer Tom Moody said that MS Dhoni has won the IPL tournament with average and good teams. It speaks of his prowess as a leader.

Place for Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav and Suresh Raina. Meanwhile, apart from MS Dhoni, India’s star batsman Virat Kohli has also been selected in the team to open the innings with Chris Gayle.
