It is said that the ongoing talks between the two parties on the allocation of constituencies are almost over and the only official announcement is pending.
The JDS leaders had demanded six Lok Sabha constituencies from the BJP high command. JDS insisted on fielding its candidate in Mandya, Hassan, Chikkaballapur, Kolar, Tumkur and Bangalore Rural constituencies. However, it is said that the BJP high command has decided to give up 3 of the six constituencies.
