Neither Deve Gowda nor former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy has considered the state president’s opinion about joining hands of JDS with NDA. The ideology of JDS, which has a secular stance, has been blown. It was discussed in the meeting that Deve Gowda was dismissed from the post of National President of the party because he had the support of the party leaders.

Speaking after the meeting, Ibrahim said that he has been in JDS for many years and participated in previous meetings with former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda. JDS is an ideological party that follows the principles of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi.

Those in the party have the power to question it if they step with the BJP without giving credit to the opinion of others in the party. Deve Gowda’s attitude of sacrificing Gandhiji’s principles and colluding with BJP just to win elections is reprehensible. Secular quality is like the soul of our party. Therefore, we will not hide the party to anyone else and will not give it a chance.

The change of national president of the party is not my decision. It is the decision of the National Council. We will tell the Election Commission about the decision taken in the meeting. He said that he will request the commission to give the symbol to the party of which CK Nanu is the president.

Janata Party was built on the ideology of Jayaprakash Narayan. Nanu has been given the appointment of President of all the states. A grand convention will be held in Hubli in January. Congress supremo Rahul Gandhi will also be invited.
