Karnataka Budget 2022: Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, who is also the finance minister of the Karnataka will be presented (Budget 2022) on March 4. The budget session is scheduled for three weeks. This is Chief Minister Bommai’s debut budget. The budget was approved by a cabinet meeting in the city on Friday.

But the chief minister has not made an official statement on the budget date. Speaking to media representatives after the meeting he said, called a budget meeting with ministers and officials of all departments. Still have to negotiate with major union organizations.

The Minister agreed to the budget date at the Cabinet meeting held at 12.30 pm today. Chief Minister Basavaraja Bommai has been preparing the budget for several days. There has been talk in the bureaucracy that the Treasury of Karnataka government is not filling up to the expected level. People tentioned by rising inflation and rising prices have also raised expectations on the budget. As usual, the rural development and agriculture sectors are demanding greater importance.

The budget process has started and I have held a departmental meeting. The budget will be prepared after February 25, taking note of the demand of all departments. I will prepare a budget in keeping with the plan of the Central and State Governments. Bommai had earlier said that he would not say in advance what the budget plans would look like.
