PM Kisan 16th installment: Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana is the best scheme for farmers’ welfare launched by the Indian government. It aims to give financial assistance to small farmers. Under the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi yojana, the eligible farmers can get assistance of Rs 6000 per year in 3 installments, Rs 2000 on every installment. Beneficiaries of PM Kisan scheme need to complete their online eKYC to get Rs 2,000. The last date for doing KYC is 31 January 2024 and it should be completed before this date. The Central government has rolled out the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme for farmers. This is a central sector scheme introduced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2019 for farmers.
Under this scheme, food donors are getting paid in 3 installments every year. Rs 2000 will be deposited in the bank account of each farmer. That means Rs 6000 per year. So far, the central government has given 15 installments and the farmers are waiting for the 16th installment.

When will the 16th installment credit:
The 16th installment of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) is expected to be released in the month of February or March. However, the exact date is yet to be confirmed by the concerned authorities. PM Kisan 15th episode was released by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 15 November 2023.
Complete eKYC before 31 January 2024:
However, the beneficiaries need to complete their online eKYC to get the Rs 2,000 installment. The last date for doing kYC is 31 January 2024 and it should be completed before this date. Farmers whose beneficiaries do not complete the KYC process will not be able to get the 16th installment payment.
Who is eligible for PM-KISAN Samman Nidhi Scheme?
People eligible for Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana should be farmers who have cultivated land registered in their name.
Who is exempted from PM-KISAN Samman Nidhi Scheme?
The benefits of PM-KISAN scheme are not applicable to state and central government employees, institutional land holders, working or retired officers and pensioners drawing more than Rs 10,000 per month.

How to register for PM Kisan Yojana?
Follow the steps below to register for the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme to avail the benefits.
-pmkisan.gov.in. Visit this official website,
-On the home page, go to Farmers Corner.
– Now click on ‘New Farmer Registration’ option.
-After going here choose any of the two options Rural Farmers Registration or Urban Farmers Registration.
-Fill all required details there like mobile number, aadhaar number, state name and more.
-Then click on ‘Get OTP’.
After doing this, an OTP will be sent to your registered mobile number. Then that OTP has to be submitted there.
-You need to fill bank account details, personal information, state name, district name and more details. Fill all these details according to Aadhaar card.
– Click on ‘For Aadhaar Verification’ and submit.
-Once Aadhaar authentication is complete, enter further details like land information and upload necessary documents.
– After all this press save option.
